The School

Ashtanga Marga Yoga – The Ashtanga Path was founded with the aim of promoting and transmitting the discipline of traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as a complete system of physical practice, awareness, and personal transformation.

The School is founded on the belief that yoga is not merely a form of exercise or a sequence of postures, but an integrated path involving body, breath, and mind. The Ashtanga Vinyasa method is not just physical activity: it is Ashtanga Yoga — an inner path rooted in the ancient Indian tradition and based on the eight limbs (aṣṭāṅga) outlined by Patañjali. These include not only physical postures, but also ethical principles, personal discipline, deep listening, mental stability, and meditative practice.

The Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method, with its precise and progressive structure, is a means to cultivate — through steady commitment — presence and stability, making a sustainable and transformative long-term practice possible.

The School promotes this approach in an inclusive and non-competitive way, respecting the sporting, ethical, and relational values that support civil coexistence and personal growth. The vision of Ashtanga Marga is rooted in a deep and responsible approach to practice: a space where each practitioner is invited to explore their physical and inner experience with rigour and openness, becoming the guardian of their own awareness.

Ashtanga Marga Yoga A.S.D. is a non-profit Amateur Sports Association officially recognised in Italy, registered with the National Register of Amateur Sports Activities (RASD), and operating in accordance with Legislative Decree 36/2021.
